EnglishOn the afternoon of January 11, 2019, the Yuanguang Party Branch held its 2018 Annual Work Summary and Democratic Appraisal Meeting for Party Members. Branch Secretary Mei Liling, Discipline Inspection Secretary Wen Haiqing, Party Building Instructor Tang Shihong, all Party members, probationary Party members, and activists attended the meeting, which was chaired by Branch Secretary Mei Liling.
The meeting began with Secretary Mei's 2018 Party building work report. Secretary Mei's report summarized the branch's work in areas such as Party branch construction, Party member education, Party member development, expenditure, and the implementation of the "Striving for Excellence" campaign. She pointed out existing problems in the branch's Party building work, proposed rectification measures, and outlined the overall work plan for 2019.
Subsequently, the leaders of the three Party groups at Yuanguang reported on their respective groups' 2018 work summaries and 2019 work plans. The Party groups closely integrated their activities with the company's production and operation characteristics, improving the quality and effectiveness of the company's Party building work.
Next, Organization Committee member Li Simao read out the approval document from the Development Zone Party Working Committee regarding the formal membership of comrades Zhu Ping and Zhang Xinyu, with their Party membership calculated from September 14, 2018. Following the reading, the selection of outstanding Party members for 2018 was conducted. Through a show of hands by all branch members, comrades Zhang Wuba and Mei Yulin were selected as outstanding Communist Party members of the Yuanguang Branch for 2018.
According to the meeting agenda, the meeting concluded with the annual organizational life meeting, democratic appraisal, and Party member service commitments. The organizational life meeting was held in Party groups, with members actively speaking, identifying problems in accordance with their commitments, and engaging in criticism and self-criticism. During the peer appraisal, members pointed out problems and shortcomings face-to-face and sincerely offered suggestions for improvement. Branch committee members, the discipline inspection secretary, and the Party building instructor took the lead in self-examination, fully demonstrating their guiding and exemplary role and effectively improving the effectiveness of the organizational life meeting. The organizational life meeting also conducted democratic appraisal of Party members based on the evaluation criteria for outstanding Party members and commended the outstanding Party members of the branch for 2018.
Finally, in her concluding remarks, Party Branch Secretary Mei Liling urged all members of the Yuanguang branch to diligently perform their duties in accordance with the company's "increase revenue, reduce expenditure, and innovate" work goals, embodying the spirit of "every Party member is a flag bearer," and truly playing a leading and exemplary role to create a bright future for Yuanguang through hard work.
