July 1 marked the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. At 8:30 in the morning, a six‑member team led by Mei Liling, Secretary of Yuanguang Electric Appliance Party Branch, paid a festive condolence visit to the elderly living alone at Meilin Town Nursing Home, bringing relief supplies including staple food, milk and edible cooking oil.
In addition to handing over supplies to the seniors, Party members of Yuanguang Party Branch also visited bed‑ridden elders. They trimmed their fingernails, had heart‑to‑heart talks with them, and reminded the elderly to take good care of themselves and keep in good spirits.
At the subsequent forum, administrators of the nursing home expressed gratitude to Yuanguang Company for its long‑term condolence activities. They also gave an introduction to the construction of the nursing home. Elderly Chen Desheng presented a self‑composed poem eulogizing the 95th anniversary of the Party’s founding to Yuanguang Party Branch.
This condolence activity for the elderly living alone served as a vivid Party lecture. It also represents a concrete practical measure of the “Two Studies and One Action” learning‑education campaign carried out by Yuanguang.
